Alston Moor Community Photographs 2026
Alston 2nd June 2026
Nenthead & Garrigill 13th September 2026
Alston Heritage brought together the communities of Alston, Nenthead and Garrigill in 2026 for Community Photographs.
This was inspired by the 1999 photos which celebrated the millennium, and other community photos contained within the Alston Moor Historical Society’s archives.
This time we’re celebrating Alston Moor and its amazing community.
Alston Heritage was awarded a community grant from the North Pennines National Landscape through the Land of Lead and Silver project, which is led by the North Pennines National Landscape team and funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England.
